| The world’s toughest fabric on cuts, tears and punctures. Made by Warwick Mills, Inc. who patented this lightweight, waterproof, comfortable fabric (patent 5565264 & 5837623 and patent pending). Professionals at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo have tested them with live rattlesnakes. Warwick also tested simulated snake strikes using 0.05” diameter needles at 2.63 joules successfully with no penetration, and a 0.042 needle at 2.37 pounds, which had a penetration limit of .03”. So, though it is not penetration proof, it gives very good protection with comfortable wearable fabric less than three sheets of paper thick.
