TurtleSkin SnakeArmor® Aramid Gloves

TurtleSkin Snake Armor® The world's toughest fabric on cuts, tears and punctures. Made by Warwick Mills, Inc. who patented this lightweight, waterproof, comfortable fabric (patent 5565264 & 5837623 and patent pending). Professionals at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo have tested them with their collection. Warwick also tested simulated snake strikes using 0.05" diameter needles at 2.63 joules successfully with no penetration, and a 0.042 needle at 2.37 pounds, which had a penetration limit of .03". So, though it is not penetration proof, it gives very good protection with comfortable wearable fabric less than three sheets of paper thick.

Aramid glove repels punctures in the palm, and tips of fingers. The back of the hand is exposed. This is usually sold to policeman to keep them from being punctured while searching suspects. Use this anytime the inside of your hand could be cut. Aramid fiber is only available in black.
