The 1/2 Rod is the most versatile. This can capture most anything. These include birds, primates, reptiles, canine, felids, small ungulates etc. These animals are also susceptible to injury.
Keep in mind the appendages, claws, teeth and temperment when selecting your mesh choice. This suspension works well with all net meshes, but sometimes the C mesh can overrun the suspension on it's own.
The 45C is roughly 14x15. Suspensions are different so refer to the table on the Versa Net book marked page. This net is good for use up to 25lb or about 12Kg. It is not as flexible as the 3/8" rod but it will flex reasonable well.
If your animal is strong, you may want to consider using the 5/8" rod instead. Because of the flexibility of polycarbonate, it may become too flexible if you overburden the suspension. Doing this will cause the net to become unmanagable. It is best to go to the next size up if you feel this could become an issue as the animal grows larger or stronger. Also, the larger you go in Circumference size, the more flexible the suspension will be.
Ships in two boxes so weight is adjusted to get a better approximate shipping.
